Cupertino is a hip Silicon Valley city rising into the foothills of the Santa Clara Mountains. April’s Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates Cupertino’s relationship with sister city Toyokawa with Japanese food and cultural performances. Fourth of July celebrations begin with a children’s carnival and flag-raising ceremony, followed by a parade and concert in the afternoon, and fireworks show at night. The holiday season kicks off with a Tree Lighting ceremony that features carol singing, music, and a holiday movie screening. 

 

Local public schools include Montclaire and West Valley Elementary Schools, Cupertino Middle School, and Monta Vista High School.
